Human Resources team
Purpose
The Human Resource Team (HRT) as a sub-committee of General Council develops human resource policies, procedures, and job descriptions for employed staff of Mission Presbytery, and annually evaluates all staff of presbytery for submission to the General Council for review and action as necessary.
The Human Resource Team (HRT) is a sub-committee of General Council. The HRT serves on behalf of the General Council (GC) and handles human resource (HR) management for employee and volunteer staff members (Staff), and contract personnel; and, is responsible for Staff, contract, and Presbytery-wide HR policies.
The HRT will seek to provide an open, caring climate which counsels and supports all Staff, by working closely with the General Presbyter (GP)/Head of Staff in a way that encourages participation in recommendations, shared expectations, and open communications.
